Experience Creativity with Judith Graves, Author / Illustrator

Thanks for your interest in a visit with me! I create and present custom, interactive workshops on the writing and publishing industry for grades 3-12 and adults. I prefer audiences of no more than 250, but I do try to be flexible.

Equipment requirements: 

· Interactive whiteboard or projector/screen

· speakers

· table to display books

· mic if in gym

· dim room if possible

· I will have my laptop or iPad 

A few details about my presentations: 

Depending on age level I may incorporate some fun drama activities, but all of my presentations include a blend of education, entertainment, and enthusiasm in the form of: storytelling, discussing the writing process and behind the scenes insights into the publishing industry, writing craft, why authors need to do research, editing and revising, as well as touching on related social issues / themes found within my work.

I also use age-appropriate music and video clips from television, film, and commercials to illustrate the concepts covered.
