Award-winning writer and screenwriter Judith Graves loves tragic romance, werewolves, vampires, magic and all things a bit creepy. A firm believer that teen fiction can be action-packed, snarky and yet hit all the right emotional notes, Judith writes stories with attitude. She lives in northern Alberta and when she’s not writing, she works in a school library.
She’s got a few projects in the works. The Skinned series: Under My Skin, Second Skin, Skin of My Teeth, andHour of the Wolf. And you won’t want to miss the RETRIBUTION series she’s co-writing with Natasha Deen and Sigmund Brouwer for Orca Book Publishers. She’s also published by Bloomsbury Spark under the pen name, Judith Tewes.
In addition to writing fiction and screenplays, Judith offers freelance editorial and manuscript reading services, and is also Co-Publisher of, and an Acquisitions Editor for, Leap Books, LLC – a small New York-based press she runs with award-winning and best-selling young adult author Shannon Delany.
Judith is a member of the Writers Guild of Alberta, theCanadian Children’s Book Centre, Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, International Thriller Writers, the Horror Writers Association, the Writers’ Union of Canada, the Alberta Association of Library Technicians, and tours with the Young Alberta Book Society. She’d love to visit your library or school for an author visit or writer’s workshop!
